Frank DeLeo, team member of Atlantic Solutions (South Plainfield, NJ) is much like many of his colleagues when it comes to his intensely competitive nature. With so many members of the team coming from sports backgrounds, smack talking seems to be a normal and wonderful part of most days here in Jersey.

When you’re a lifelong baseball fan like Frank is, you’ve got some pretty strong opinions about the best and worst teams and players… and so of course, we wanted to know his thoughts just in time for the 2017 season to kickoff.

Feel free to comment below to share whether you agree or disagree with his assessments. Here we go! …

Who is your all-time favorite championship team in any sport?

Favorite Championship team is my home team the 2009 New York Yankees. The three-man rotation of Cc Sabathia, Aj Burnett, and Andy Pettitte were unstoppable and Hideki Matsui went on an absolute tear.

What’s one NFL team you would get rid of right now?

The Jets, because I love them and I can’t bear to watch them lose like this anymore.

What’s one player you cannot stand in any sport?

Jose Bautista because he kills the Yankees and he’s way too cocky about it.

Do you have a favorite player?

Favorite of all time is Derek Jeter because with all the spotlight on him he was always able to maintain a great attitude and hit in the most clutch situations.

Right now my favorite is Greg Bird. I love his attitude and I think he is poised for big things in the future.
